Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information RL Sliding Doors (“we,” “us”) collects when you use rlslidingdoors.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We repair sliding glass doors, screen doors and windows in North Carolina and Florida.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, call, text or email us, we may collect:

• Your name, phone number and zip code
• The area you’re in and a description of what needs to be repaired
• Your service address, email and anything else you choose to tell us when we schedule or complete a job
• Payment details when you pay for a repair. These are handled by our payment processor, and we don’t keep full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

Only if you click “Accept” on our privacy banner:

• Meta Pixel (Facebook). This tool sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, that you sent a quote request, your IP address, and browser and device details. Meta may connect this with your Facebook or Instagram account. We use it to measure and improve our ads. Meta’s use of this data is covered by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
• Area lookup. We send your IP address to ipwho.is to estimate your zip code and city so the top of the page can show your area. We don’t store the result.

Every visit, whatever you choose:

• Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site running.
• Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google.
• Your browser saves your Accept or Decline choice so we don’t ask again on every page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Decline.

How we use your information

• To answer your request, give you an estimate, schedule and complete repairs, and follow up on our workmanship guarantee
• To contact you by phone, text or email about your request or job
• To measure how our ads perform (only with your consent)
• To keep the website secure, fix problems and meet legal obligations

Phone calls and text messages

When you send us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your repair request and appointment. We won’t send you marketing texts unless you separately agree to them. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply.

Who we share information with

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as Web3Forms (delivers quote-form submissions to us), our web host, our phone and text providers, and our payment processor. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Meta, through the Meta Pixel, only if you accept tracking. Under some state privacy laws, this may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can decline at any time (see below).
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety
• A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged

Your choices

• Change your tracking choice any time with the Cookie & Tracking Settings link at the bottom of our home page.
• Manage how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
• Ask us to access, correct or delete your information by contacting us (details below).

Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email or call us. We’ll need to verify your identity, and we’ll respond within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them to provide service, honor our guarantee, and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. Quote requests that don’t turn into a job are deleted after [time period, e.g. 2 years].

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
